Its not too late for the tape method, the taping can still be done up to a year after the surgery as the skin is still relatively pliable.

Yes, it’s definitely the best to get all the massages before taping as advised by our team at Massage by Ari.

We recommend that you get at least 3 massages before the taping procedure is done. The optimal number of massages suggested after a surgical procedure is at least 10 in order for the skin and muscle tissue to settle.

We at Massage by Ari, don’t tape before day 3 as the skin needs to breathe and you need to have your massages to drain your lymph nodes.

Yes, absolutely, contact me after you have been taped and we will take care of you personally with a facetime call to ensure we are with you throughout the entire untapping or retaping of your body.

We provide you with clear instructions on what you can and can’t do while you have the tape on. We also explain and help you via facetime when it is time to remove the tape by yourself. If you need to retape yourself, we are available via facetime to assist you with the correct way in which to do this. Once you have removed the tape, have a warm shower, and let your skin breathe for at least two days before retaping, we will be ready for you via facetime.

We suggest that you keep the tape on the area of your body that has been operated on for 5 – 10 days after the taping. The maximum time is 10 days as your skin needs to breathe to ensure it remains healthy.

Yes, you can, it is a dry massage. We don’t use oil during the massage as it will loosen the tape from your skin.

We can help you prepare for recovery and recommend that you bump up your intake of Vitamins, Iron, Vitamin K, Vitamin C and Vitamin B12 prior t having your surgery done. When you prepare to go to your recovery house remember to take extra of the above vitamins and food supplements with you. These vitamins aid in the speedy recovery of skin and muscles after surgery. After an operation your muscle and skin tissue are nutrient deficient so you will need
extra nutrients from supplements that can be released into your bloodstream in order for your body to get the right mix of amino acids into your bloodstream. A friendly reminder to all our clients, please make sure that your recovery house allows us to come to you while you are staying there.

  • Deposit is non-refundable if cancelled within 72hrs of day of service
  • Cancellation on the day of service, one or more items will forfeit your deposit
  • If day of service is within 30 days of request of cancellation, we will refund you 75% of deposit
  • In order to receive entire refund because of Cancellation of surgery there
    must be a letter emailed to massagebyari0421@gmail.com from Surgeons Office before refund is provided
  • All refunds will take 7 – 10 days from request.

If you are overweight, have a protruding stomach or after a pregnancy, you will definitely benefit from the tape method. Here at Massage by Ari we have many clients so make sure you book an appointment, and you can cancel the appointment if you feel you don’t need the taping. Cancellations are according to our cancellation policy.

Yes, you should get a massage every other day. Your tummy is like any other area, the toxins need to be drained from your body via your lymph system. Massage is definitely required after a tummy tuck. Your surgeon will have placed a drain that drains fluids from your tummy into the area. Massaging the area will aid your body in eliminating the toxins that have built up around this area.

Yes, after a tummy tuck you should get taping done, but I recommend it be done around 4 weeks after the operation. This is in order for the drainage of the lymph nodes to have eliminated most toxins.

Absolutely yes, you can massage every day. As with any other surgery, your body  is in a state of distress and massage will destress your entire body.

Its best to wear an undershirt all the time, depending on your results you can decide after a month whether you think it’s necessary to wear the undershirt.

Yes, you apply the tape in exactly the same way, but you need to contact me so that you can learn about allowing your skin to breathe, before taping again.

We at Massage by Ari use and ear plug in the belly button as it is soft and movable. We refresh and retrain every three months to ensure that we keep our high standards and quality

We only provide training for personal use, if you want professional training that would have to be addressed in a different scenario and training setting.

Please note post-surgery care instructions as it prevents pores from clogging
and other issues.

  • Shower before each massage
  • Avoid showers that are too hot or too cold
  • Rest 10 – 20 minutes after massage for body to settle
  • If you shower with lukewarm water, it takes 20 minutes for pores to close.
  • After a hot shower it takes up to 1 hour for pores to close
  • Faja must be dry and clean before wearing
  • You will need to wear your Faja for 4 – 6 weeks after surgery and sleep in it too.
  • On taping day ensure you shower prior to taping.
  • Once taping is completed just rinse legs and pat dry.
  • Avoid weight-loss or gain
  • Continue to hydrate – that means drink a lot of water every day
  • Be careful of how you sit.
  • Avoid strenuous activity or exercise especially running or “bouncy” sports.
